Location: Hackney, East London
Salary: £1,800 - £2,200 per month
Start Date: Immediate / September
Contract: Full-time
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hackney is seeking a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support teaching and learning across the classroom, working closely with teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will provide targeted support to individuals and small groups while helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
The role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about education and looking to further develop their career within a supportive school setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning across the classroom
- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
- Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
Requirements
Essential:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working within a primary school setting
- GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN
- Knowledge of phonics and intervention programmes
- Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related subject
