No special school experience necessary. Come and join our dynamic team! We have a terrific Beginning Teacher and transition to Special school Program. All new staff receive the following supports:
- a staff induction program
- a watching others work program
- a mentoring program
You will receive additional non-contact to participate in all these programs.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and ability to differentiate to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners
- Flexibility and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Effective communication skills and ability to plan
- Strong relational skills to support strong partnerships between staff, students and families and the wider school community
- Knowledge of a range of positive behaviour support strategies to engage students in learning

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please CLICK HERE.
- Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department
