Baralaba State School (P-10) is a warm, inclusive rural school in Central Queensland, committed to "Success by effort", the school places strong value on community partnerships, close relationships between staff, students and families, and providing high-quality learning experiences.

Founded in 1918 in a tent, Baralaba State School is located in Central Queensland, west of Gladstone. In 2018, we celebrated the centenary of our school and in 2019, Baralaba SS was one of the first schools in the state to open its State Delivered Kindergarten program - a significant milestone for the state schooling system. Today, we are proud of our school’s traditions, our facilities and the learning opportunities that we provide our students to prepare them for their futures.
