We're recruiting a General Secondary Teacher to join the team at Noosa District State High School for Semester 1, 2026. This role combines classroom teaching with Head of Year support components, offering a rewarding opportunity for an educator who is passionate about student engagement, wellbeing and achieving positive outcomes for young people.

Your Role

In addition to teaching responsibilities, the successful applicant will support Head of Year functions within the Student Services team, including:

• Supporting student wellbeing, engagement and attendance
• Monitoring and assisting with individual and cohort performance and engagement data
• Assisting with the implementation of behaviour and engagement strategies
• Contributing to positive learning environments aligned with Positive Behaviour for Learning
• Working collaboratively with staff, families and support services to improve student outcomes

What You'll Need

• Relevant teaching qualification
• Full or provisional QCT registration
• Australian working rights or valid visa
• Pre-service and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply (include practicum reports, mentor statements & unofficial transcript)
