Based at Monto State School, District Relief Teachers have the opportunity to work across a cluster of local schools, supporting students from Prep to Year 12. This varied role offers the chance to teach across different year levels and school settings while helping maintain continuity of learning across the district.

Current Opportunities

District Relieving Teacher (DRT) - Prep-Year 12 (Temporary 10/08/2026 - 04/12/2026)

Itinerant schools are as follows:

• Monday: Abercorn State School
• Tuesday–Wednesday: DRT at Monto State School, Monto State High School, Mulgildie State School or Abercorn State School, as required.
• Thursday–Friday: Mulgildie State School

• Australian working rights or valid visa
