The School
Yanchep Beach Primary (PS) is an Independent Public School located within a new coastal estate 60 kilometres north of Perth.
The school opened in January 2014 with 319 students and is expected to have an enrolment of around 600 students in 2026. The significant growth of the Yanchep has resulted in rapid growth and has provided the school with additional staff, resources and the opportunity to create new and exciting learning experiences for its students. Being a fairly transient area, enrolment fluctuates throughout the year.
At Yanchep Beach PS, there is a high focus not only on the academic, but also the non-academic supports in place to ensure that all students are able to achieve success. There is a strong focus on Literacy development through consistent implementation of the Talk For Writing program, as well as a whole school approach to behaviour management through the PBS model. Within the school community, there is high value placed on the Arts, specifically the profile and benefits that an effective Music program brings to the school.
