RHHC, located in the Lismore township, is a medium size (521 enrolments) comprehensive public high school working within The Rivers Secondary College. Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach PHP (PD/Health/PE), CFS (Community & Family Studies), ECS (Exploring Early Childhood/Child Studies) and SLR (Sport, Lifestyle & Rec/Physical Activity and Sports Studies.
- Demonstrated ability to collaboratively design, implement and evaluate differentiated, evidence-based teaching and learning programs that maximise student engagement, growth, and achievement across a diverse range of learners.
- Enthusiastic and proactive teacher with strong communication skills, able to build positive relationships with staff, students, and the wider school community, and to create engaging, inclusive classrooms that foster a culture of high expectations.
- Proven capacity to contribute to the delivery of school sport and to lead or support extra-curricular initiatives that promote student wellbeing, participation, and connection to the school community.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
