About the Opportunity

We welcome applications from both experienced and graduate teachers to join our school community as a Teacher of PDHPE and Dance. In this role, you will inspire students to engage deeply in their physical, health, and creative learning, fostering a love of movement, wellbeing, and artistic expression.

This role is temporary full time commencing Term 2 2026.

  • Ability to teach PDHPE and Dance across all stages.
  • Create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students through varied teaching strategies and pedagogical practices.
  • Develop and maintain collegial relationships within and beyond the faculty.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to pastoral care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing of young women.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified PDHPE teacher with a strong understanding of the syllabus requirements and current NESA accreditation.
  • Be confident in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom and committed to improving educational outcomes.
  • Outstanding planning and organising skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • All staff members at Loreto Normanhurst must participate in the Loreto Normanhurst Student Growth Model, which may mean being part of an Integrated Learning Team.
  • Ability to use ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement.
