We have an exciting teaching position available in TAFE Queensland in our Nursing delivery team.

Your Opportunity
As a TAFE Teacher you will have the opportunity to impart your extensive industry knowledge and experience to students using a variety of delivery methods including in the classroom, online, and workplace.
The Role
We have an exciting role available as a Teacher, Nursing team, at TAFE Queensland’s Ipswich Campus (potential travel required across the region).
This position is available on a temporary full-time position available until 23 October 2026, unless otherwise determined and reports to the Educational Team Leader.
Salary
The salary range for a TAFE Teacher is $92,930 - $122,084 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must possess: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent. And the following: current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided; current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided; evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment; current AHPRA Registration; current Queensland Driver’s licence; current Blue Card or Exemption Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
Additionally, to become a TAFE Teacher, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials: TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor; or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or TAE50111 or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or TAE50211 or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development; or A secondary teaching qualification and one (1) of the following credentials: TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor; or TAESS00011 or TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or its successor; or A higher-level qualification in adult or vocational education (approved by TAFE Queensland).
Highly Desirable
Candidates who possess the following will be highly regarded: High level of digital literacy skills across various platforms (online Learning Management Systems). Industry currency - experience in clinical role (minimum 5 years). Experience with clinical teaching.
