Position Information

Quakers Hill East is a public school located in Acacia Gardens. We currently have 657 student enrolments across 26 mainstream classes and 2 support classes.

Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach Library (Primary), or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.

Well-developed skills in the management of student behaviour, engagement and wellbeing within the library setting, including the ability to establish clear expectations, promote positive student conduct, and provide a safe and supportive learning environment.

Proven capability to design, deliver and evaluate differentiated teaching and learning programs that integrates technology for student with varied communication, learning and support needs.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
