We are seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
At Ellenbrook PS, relationships are central to the work we do. As educators at Ellenbrook PS, you should possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build and foster strong relationships with students, staff and the wider community.
Suitable applicants would be responsible for ensuring the planning, implementation and assessing of whole school evidence-based programs and mandated explicit instruction pedagogy that drives our quality teaching agenda. Teachers at Ellenbrook PS would engage in delivering evidenced based pedagogy and reflective assessment practices that support high inclusivity, high progress and high achievement outcomes for our students. Strong knowledge and experience in the Science of Learning, visible learning and high impact teaching strategies are considered favourable. Current programs delivered at Ellenbrook PS include Prime Maths, Spelling Mastery, Elementary Maths Mastery, Talk for Writing, Promoting Literacy Development (PLD) and Heggerty.
The desired applicants will ideally display their ability to meet targets and milestones set out in the School Business Plan through collaborative teamwork. A culture of collaboration and support ensures staff work together in phases of learning and curriculum teams to achieve our vision. Applicants with contextual curriculum leadership experiences that can add value to our distributed leadership and empowerment model are encouraged to apply. Suitable applicants should ideally be willing to engage in Instructional Coaching and contribute to our strong feedback culture.

To support learning, daily reviews built around concepts of the Cognitive Load Theory will be utilised.
