What you'll be doing

  • Deliver engaging, student-centred training and assessment in Individual Support programs.
  • Facilitate learning across classroom, simulated, workplace and online environments.
  • Develop and implement assessment tools aligned with national training package requirements.
  • Support student engagement, progression and success through inclusive teaching practices.
  • Build strong relationships with industry, students and stakeholders.
  • Maintain current industry and vocational education practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and educational excellence.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Mandatory requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021) or equivalent.
  • Current industry skills and experience relevant to Individual Support training.
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or equivalent.
  • Approved higher-level adult education qualification; or equivalent approved credential.
  • Current vocational education and training knowledge and skills.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in training and assessment.

Highly desirable

  • Experience using Learning Management Systems and digital learning technologies.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
