TAFE Queensland Gold Coast is looking for trade qualified individuals who have a passion for the Electrical Industry, ready to bring their core industry skills into the classroom and inspire the next generation of Electrical tradespeople.

You will be supported and mentored while you transition into yout role as a teacher at TAFE Queensland. You will deliver the course in the classroom, in onsite and offsite workshops & state-of-the-art simulated learning environments. You will contribute to developing and delivering quality learning, teaching and assessment to a wide range of students through:
- Outcome focussed vocational education and training (VET) programs;
- Linking with industry, schools, universities, community, other TAFE and VET providers;
- Maintaining currency with industry practices, workplace delivery and contemporary teaching methodologies and philosophies; and
- Working in an environment of ongoing change and continuous improvement.
What Qualifications do you need?
Mandatory:
- UEE30820 – QLD Electrical Fitter Mechanics licence (or equivalent).
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent/higher).
- Current industry experience with ability to demonstrate a broad range of current industry skills
Highly Desirable:
- UEE32220 or UEE42920 – QLD Restricted Licence (or equivalent).
- ACMA Cabling Licence
The Positions: Three full-time roles available at our Ashmore Campus, fixed-term until 27-Jun-2026 & 18-Dec-2026, with potential to extend.
The Salary: $92,930 – $105,218 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications and teaching experience.
