The School

Nestled alongside Wungong Creek in Hilbert, Wungong Primary School opened its doors to the local community in February 2026. We believe our students, staff and community are highly capable and we support them by encouraging a love of learning, developing authentic, caring relationships and delivering high quality, connected teaching. We have high expectations for the success of the whole child and believe that when people are strong in culture and community, they achieve more.

Our campus is state-of-the-art. All classrooms are airconditioned and enjoy the latest technologies. Complementing the abundance of green space in our suburb, our school has multiple playgrounds and open areas for our students to play, connect and learn.

Our whole school programs in literacy (UFLi, Word Orgins, Talk 4 Writing), numeracy (Explicit Maths Program) and wellbeing (Grow Your Mind) are best practice and are supported by every staff member. Unity of quality teaching practice is the standard at Wungong Primary School.
