Thargomindah Secondary Learning Centre are seeking applications for a Teacher Aide to join their school community, on a temporary part-time basis offered at 0.79 FTE and 60 hours per fortnight. This role is offered from 14 July 2025 until 05 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.
Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by supervising and supporting students with the completion of their learning materials and associated activities.

About the Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by supervising and supporting students with the completion of their learning materials and associated activities.
- Assisting with the management and stocktaking of equipment and resources.
- Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
- Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing student's development.
- Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.
About You
Skills/Abilities:
Skills and abilities to have, or rapidly acquire, knowledge as a Teacher Aide in a responsible way assisting in the supervision of education activities under the direction of teachers at Charleville School of Distance Education, working with small groups as well as individual students, communicate effectively and display a high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member, keyboard skills and general admin duties.
