Aitkenvale State School is seeking a Teacher Aide with demonstrated experience supporting students with disabilities.
This temporary position involves working with students with diverse and complex learning needs, including those with disabilities and trauma backgrounds, to support their participation and engagement in the curriculum.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.66FTE), 50 hours per fortnight.

About the Role
This temporary position supports students with disabilities (SWD) and other complex needs and behaviours across various year levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting students with disabilities and diverse learning needs in and out of the classroom.
- Assisting students who present with complex and/or escalated behaviours.
- Collaborating with teachers to enable student participation and engagement in the curriculum.
- Providing clerical assistance, including preparing teaching materials and maintaining student records.
- Contributing to the welfare, health, and safety of students, including administering first aid if required.
