Salesian College Chadstone is seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our community as Sports Academy Leader and Physical Education Teacher.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to high-quality teaching and learning while leading and further developing our Sports Academy program. The role supports student athletes in achieving excellence across their academic, personal and sporting pursuits.

About the Role

This position combines classroom teaching with leadership responsibilities, including:

• Teaching VCE Physical Education preferable
• Leading the development and delivery of the Sports Academy program
• Supporting student athletes to balance elite sport and academic achievement
• Building partnerships with sporting organisations and pathways
• Promoting student wellbeing, resilience and holistic development
• Engaging with families, coaches and the broader community

About You

You will bring:

• VIT registration (or eligibility)
• Experience teaching VCE Physical Education
• Demonstrated leadership capability or experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of athlete development and high-performance environments
• Commitment to child safety and student wellbeing
