Veritas Education is working with a supportive and well-established primary SEN provision in Romford, looking to appoint a Speech and Language Therapist or Makaton Specialist to support pupils with communication and developmental needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional passionate about inclusive education and making a meaningful impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted speech and language interventions to pupils with EHCPs
• Use Makaton and other communication strategies to support access to learning
• Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils across EYFS and primary key stages
• Liaise with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
• Assist with progress monitoring and contribute to EHCP reviews

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist or experienced Makaton-trained professional
• Previous experience supporting children with speech, language, and communication needs
• Confident, patient, and able to adapt to a dynamic school environment
• Passionate about supporting pupils with SEN

• Daily rate of £100 - £130 (dependent on experience)
