Salary Package: $170,170 per annum (including salary of $145,286)

About the Role

Senior Teachers Inclusive Education are specialist educators who work within a regional multidisciplinary

team supporting schools across the Northern Territory. Guided by a multi-tiered system of support

framework, the role focuses on building educator capability and improving educational outcomes for

students.

The successful applicant will provide evidence-based advice and recommendations to educators regarding

students with disability, supporting access to curriculum and participation in educational programs.

Travel across regional areas is an essential component of this position and includes delivering professional

learning and support services to schools.

Essential Requirements

• Postgraduate qualification relevant to Special Education or Inclusive Education.
• Working with Children Notice Clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Northern Territory Driver's Licence (or ability to obtain).

The role may require:

• Travel to remote schools by four-wheel drive vehicle on unsealed roads.
• Travel by light aircraft.
• Overnight stays in remote communities for up to four days.

Four-wheel drive training will be provided by the NT Department of Education and Training.
