Summary

As Senior Advisor Strategy, you will play a key role in shaping system‑wide priorities and decision‑making across Brisbane Catholic Education. Working closely with the Strategy Lead, you’ll deliver high‑quality strategic analysis, insights and recommendations that influence policy, enterprise priorities and organisational performance. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who enjoys tackling complex issues, working across diverse stakeholders and translating evidence into clear, practical direction.

  • Salary: $137,560 - $152,836 plus super

About the opportunity

In this position you will:  

  • Provide high‑level strategic advice and lead initiatives that influence organisational direction, policy and practice
  • Analyse complex data and insights to challenge thinking, identify opportunities and support continuous improvement
  • Support functional teams to evaluate options and determine organisational and operational requirements
  • Develop strategies, frameworks and recommendations to enhance system performance and educational outcomes
  • Prepare high‑quality reports, briefs and committee papers on significant strategy, planning and research initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes
  • Partner with BCE office and school‑based leaders to support enterprise priorities
  • Build capability across teams to improve effectiveness, efficiency and impact

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:    

  • Strong experience in strategic analysis, policy development or advisory roles within complex organisations
  • The ability to synthesise data, research and insights into clear, evidence‑based recommendations
  • Well‑developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence and collaborate across functions
  • Experience preparing high‑level reports and advice for senior leaders or governance forums
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Economics or a related discipline (highly regarded but not essential), or equivalent experience

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: 

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  • Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
