Summary

This is a hands on, influential change role supporting some of Brisbane Catholic Education’s most significant enterprise initiatives. As Senior Advisor, Change, you will work at the intersection of strategy, delivery and people, helping leaders, project teams and schools navigate change in a way that is practical, embedded and sustainable, while translating change strategy into action and supporting adoption across a complex, values led organisation. You will be trusted to balance structured change approaches with the realities of a diverse operating environment, ensuring initiatives deliver meaningful and lasting impact.

  • Salary: $137,560 - $152,836 plus super

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for: 

  • Support enterprise‑wide change initiatives from early impact assessment through to adoption and embedment
  • Analyse change impacts, readiness and risk, using insights to shape practical change approaches
  • Develop and deliver change artefacts, tools and frameworks that support consistent, high‑quality delivery
  • Partner closely with project teams, business areas and school leaders to embed change into day‑to‑day practice
  • Monitor adoption and effectiveness, identifying opportunities to strengthen outcomes and capability
  • Prepare clear, well‑reasoned reports, briefings and committee papers for senior stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of BCE’s change capability, tools and ways of working
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation, influencing without authority in complex environments

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:   

  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex organisational change initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide practical, evidence‑based advice
  • Conducted high level reviews and investigations linked to organisational performance.
  • Experience applying change management methodologies in large or complex environments
  • Well‑developed written communication skills, including report and paper preparation
  • The ability to influence, challenge constructively and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in a similar advisory or change role (highly regarded)
  • Formal change management certification (e.g. Prosci or similar), or equivalent experience

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: 

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
