Job Description
Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2025.
The Narre Warren South Campus is seeking a part-time (FTE 0.6-0.8) Secondary French Teacher. This is a fixed term contract (Long Service Leave Replacement) for Term 1 in 2026.
We’re looking for a dedicated Secondary French Teacher who sees language as more than grammar and vocabulary. You're passionate about equipping students to engage with the world – its cultures, its people, and its stories.
You’ll join a staff team that cares deeply about the formation of students and who are learners themselves – people committed to professional growth and to the good of every student in their care. We seek to education, encourage, and empower our young people not only for themselves, but for the sake of others.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified teacher and holds a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Loves language and is able to teach French
- Has high level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
- Is willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities.
- Has current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
