ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity has arisen at Knox Grammar School senior campus for a Science Teacher. This a Permanent Full Time position, commencing Term 1, 2026.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Relevant education qualifications including a current NESA accreditation.
• Experience teaching Stage 6 Chemistry
• A variety of effective teaching strategies that engage students of varying abilities on their path to achieving specific learning outcomes.
• Experience in the design, production and administration of formative and summative assessments tasks.
• Effective management strategies for students of differing abilities and levels of engagement.
• Well-developed IT skills for:
• (i) Integration into classroom strategies
• (ii) Departmental Teaching and Learning initiatives
• (iii) Departmental administrative requirements
• The desire to be a team-player in a collegial department with high expectations of its members and of its students.
