The Role
Collie SHS is seeking a Program Coordinator – School Operations to join their Leadership Team.
The role plays a vital aspect of ensuring the day-to-day operations of the school are run in a smooth and systematic way. Ideally, with outstanding communication and leadership skills, the successful applicant for this role will work in a shared, collaborative arrangement with the Executive Team to perform the following roles:
- Manage daily teacher relief requirements
- Manage Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (OLNA) and National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN), including timetabling, staff training
- Attendance and Census compliance
- Compass – Excursions Events and third-party approvals
- Term rosters for duty
- Examination and Externally Set Task (EST) Timetables, scanning and uploads of EST’s
- Co-ordination with School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE) for Exams
- Small Group Tuition compliance and reporting
- Reporting to parents, overseeing the consistent input of data and compliance
- Staff Professional Learning and trade-off register
- Additional operational duties that may be deemed necessary by the principal.
This role will have a teaching component attached to it utilising the strengths of the successful applicant.

Teachers and School Administrators employed at Collie Senior High School in 2026 are eligible to receive a temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $2 000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.
The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
