Details:  Narrabundah Early Childhood School is situated within the South Weston School’s Network supporting the learning and development of children from preschool to Year 2, with approximately 129 students.

It’s unique and innovative setting, in partnership with Communities at Work, offers a holistic service which focuses on high quality learning, integrated service delivery and family support and participation. The educational program for preschool to Year 2 brings together expert knowledge about early childhood education implementing local and national curriculum frameworks.

Narrabundah Early Childhood School is committed to strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The Koori preschool provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children aged 3 to 5 years with a play-based, culturally safe learning program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Prior to commencing in this role a minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification; a current full teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT TQI) and a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
