MLC School is seeking an experienced PDHPE Teacher in 2026 to cover parental leave.

PDHPE Teacher (Temporary – Terms 1-3)

Start Date: 1 January 2026

Full Time (1.0 FTE)

About the Role

As a member of the PDHPE Department, you will:

• Teach Years 7–10 PDHPE.
• Design and deliver inclusive, engaging programs aligned with the School’s Learning and Teaching Framework.
• Foster student wellbeing and academic growth through differentiated learning and collaborative practice.
• Actively contribute to the school's Learning Management System (LMS).
• Maintain evidence to ensure compliance with NESA.
• Demonstrate a willingness to regularly update teaching and learning resources in alignment with current best practices and syllabus requirements.
• Write programs in preparation for the new 2027 syllabus.
• Contribute to the co-curricular life of the School and support the holistic development of every girl.

Essential Requirements:

• Ability to teach Years 7–10 PDHPE & PASS.
• Strong understanding of PDHPE pedagogy and curriculum.
• Experience teaching Physical Activity and Sports Studies (PASS).

For those with leadership experience, the role would be:

• Responsible for overseeing the implementation of the new K-10 PDHPE syllabus (due for teaching in 2027)
• Responsible for overseeing NESA registration for the Department (March 2026)
