Allenby Gardens Primary School is a progressive and future focussed school situated in the inner west suburbs of Adelaide and caters to learners from Preschool to year 6. Established in 1926, Allenby Gardens primary school is focused on excellence, high expectations and innovation.

We are seeking an outstanding and highly motivated specialist teacher for The Arts. The successful applicant will join our collaborative team and supportive work environment and be part of a vibrant school community with learning opportunities beyond the classroom.
The Arts teacher will be expected to teach the following Arts subjects across Foundation to year 6:
- Dance
- Drama
- Media Arts
- Music
The Arts Specialist teacher will:
- Activate student's prior knowledge and cultural practices as a starting point
- Build on the resources, skills, knowledge and goals that students develop in their homes and communities
- Provide opportunity for students to apply their learning in real-world or authentic contexts
- Focus on student progress and provides constructive feedback to support student achievement and wellbeing.
Classroom teaching R-6 may be a requirement of this position in the future
