Music Teacher - St Columba's Springwood

We are seeking a highly energetic, engaging, and committed Music Teacher to join our vibrant team on a permanent, full-time position, commencing in Term 1, 2026.

The successful candidate

The successful candidate will fit the following criteria:

We are seeking a highly energetic, engaging, and committed Music Teacher to join our vibrant team.

The successful applicant will:

• Teach Music across Years 7–12, including Stage 6 Music
• Contribute to the design and delivery of both curricular and co-curricular music programs
• Inspire and support students in their musical growth and performance opportunities
• Work collaboratively as part of a high-functioning and dedicated faculty

An allowance is available for the right applicant to coordinate the College Concert Band and Vocal Ensemble.

The successful candidate will also:

• Have a sound understanding of the learning environments, lesson plans, use of technology, teaching practices and delivery of assessment and learning feedback.

• Work creatively and constructively within a range of 'communities' inside and beyond the school and set high, achievable goals for themselves and their students.
• Be able to motivate students to achieve and to develop a life-long love of learning.
