Maths Teacher

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to make a positive impact within a supportive school environment.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students of varying abilities.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing targeted support where required.
• Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and achievement.
• Contribute to departmental development and school-wide initiatives.
• Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes and developing a positive attitude towards mathematics.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
• Has excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Can inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Is committed to raising standards and delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
• Works effectively as part of a collaborative school team.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
