Manager Corporate Services
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026 Piara Waters Primary School (PS) opened in February 2012 catering for students in Kindergarten to Year 6 and is located in the suburb of Piara Waters (South Metropolitan Education Region). It is one of the largest primary schools in the state and staff benefit from working in a large collaborative team to continually build their knowledge. The Role
As a member of the school’s executive team, the Manager Corporate Services is responsible for the delivery of quality corporate services to Piara Waters PS staff, students and the school community. You will lead the Corporate Services team (Business Support Officer, School Officers, Network Officer, Cleaners and Gardeners) and support the Education team, to ensure a safe and effective learning environment, where facilities are purposeful, and resources are prioritised to enhance learning outcomes for students. The Manager Corporate Services is responsible for implementing sound consistent management and budgeting practices and systems. The successful applicant will ideally have well established financial management capabilities, be a strategic leader and possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The Manager Corporate Services should be flexible, reliable and able to work independently with autonomy. As a member of the leadership team, the Manager Corporate Services will share the responsibility for inspiring and leading staff in their commitment to the values and priorities of the school. - Demonstrated highly developed skills leading, managing, and facilitating a team to deliver strategic business outcomes using sound customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated substantial knowledge and experience in financial management and budget preparation and an understanding of the financial regulatory framework, including the Australian Accounting Standards, the Financial Management Act, tax legislatures and other relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated highly developed human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and apply human resource management practices and systems.
- Demonstrated substantial experience in the development, implementation, management and monitoring of strategic business, marketing and operational plans.
- Demonstrated highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult, collaborate and negotiate effectively with a wide range of individuals at all levels.
- Demonstrated substantial research, conceptual and risk management skills, including the ability to provide innovative solutions to strategic and complex problems and issues.
