The Role
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence?
Rossmoyne SHS is seeking a dynamic Manager of Corporate Services to lead key administrative and financial functions that support our vibrant learning community.
In this pivotal role, you would oversee core areas including finance, human resources, asset management, and corporate services staff, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities of the role include leading the development, monitoring, and reporting of school budgets, as well as managing procurement, contracts, and financial reporting with precision and transparency. The Manager of Corporate Services also supports payroll and leave processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness, provides leadership and guidance to corporate services staff, and contributes to workforce planning while fostering a collaborative work culture. Additionally, the role involves delivering strategic advice to the Principal, aligning resources with educational priorities, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and departmental standards.
The ideal applicant would bring high-level communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving and organisational capabilities and a commitment to service excellence, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in financial management and budget preparation and an understanding of the financial regulatory framework, including the Australian Accounting Standards, the Financial Management Act, tax legislatures and other relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated highly developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to consult, collaborate and negotiate with a wide range of individuals at all levels.
- Demonstrated highly developed skills and experience in managing corporate service functions in a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to develop solutions to complex problems.
- Demonstrated substantial experience in the development, implementation and monitoring of business plans.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of facilities management, repair and replacement.
- Demonstrated highly developed human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and apply human resource management practices and systems.
