This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026. Lynwood Senior High School (SHS) is a proudly diverse secondary school with a long history of serving its community and multi-generational families in the area. The Role
The Manager of Corporate Services plays a pivotal role in the effective administration and financial management of the school, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures. This position oversees key operational areas including finance, human resources, asset management, and school support services.
The Manager of Corporate Services is responsible for preparing and monitoring budgets, managing procurement and contracts, coordinating payroll and leave processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. They also supervise Allied Professional staff and contribute to workforce planning, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
In addition to operational leadership, the Manager of Corporate Services supports strategic planning and decision-making by providing timely and accurate advice to the Principal. They ensure the school’s resources are aligned with educational priorities and maintain accountability for compliance with relevant legislation and departmental standards. The successful applicant will ideally have high-level communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with a strong focus on service delivery, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

- Demonstrated highly developed skills and experience in managing corporate services functions in a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated substantial knowledge and experience in financial management and budget preparation and an understanding of the financial regulatory framework, including the Financial Management Act, reporting and governance requirements of government organisations and other relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated highly developed human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and apply human resource management practices and systems and in leading and managing staff.
- Demonstrated substantial experience in the development, implementation, management and monitoring of strategic business, marketing and operational plans.
- Demonstrated highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult, collaborate and negotiate effectively with a wide range of individuals at all levels.
- Demonstrated substantial research, conceptual and risk management skills, including the ability to provide innovative solutions to strategic and complex problems and issues.
