Library Officer
This is a permanent part-time (0.2 FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026

The Role
As a Library Officer you will be responsible for the provision of reference information and maintaining the resources, environment and associated services of the school library to support the learning outcomes of students. The Library Officer also administers the library systems ensuring library records are up to date and library resources are maintained and processed so they are accessible and available to students and staff at all times.
The successful applicant will ideally be a lover of books who is able to inspire students with a love of reading, create a welcoming atmosphere in the library and collaborate with other staff to promote reading throughout the school. You will ideally be a confident communicator who is approachable and has the capacity to work cooperatively with others, creating a vibrant library environment for students and families. An interest in reading and a sound understanding of library systems, processes and stocktakes would be an advantage.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
