Sacred Heart College is a Kindergarten to Year 10 Co-educational Catholic College based on the charism of the Sisters of St Joseph, located in the central Hobart suburb of New Town.

We are seeking a Learning Support Officer with skills in the Materials Design and Technology field to join our community in an ongoing capacity.

The role includes preparing and maintaining tools, materials and equipment, including:

• tablesaw, buzzer, thicknesser, MIG Welder, Oxy Acetylene welder and other wood and metalwork equipment;
• timber machining and tool sharpening; and
• assisting teachers and students in a busy workshop.

An Education Support qualification would be an advantage.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
