About You
The Leader of Student Wellbeing is a teacher appointed to a position of responsibility who demonstrates strong support for the vision and ministry of Catholic Education and assists the Principal in facilitating the College’s evangelising and catechising mission of the Church within an educational context.
The Leader of Student Wellbeing plays a role in supporting students to reach their educational potential, boosting learning growth across the entire school community. The Leader of Student Wellbeing position is a 3-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent. It includes being a member of the College Leadership Team. You'll bring:
- effective leadership
- expertise in developing effective student wellbeing programs and practices
- strong classroom management & student well-being focus
- ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
- a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
