About Our School
St Ambrose Catholic Primary School Concord West is a vibrant and welcoming community where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. A clear focus on explicit teaching is combined with opportunities for inquiry-based learning. This helps students to develop the body of knowledge and skills that they need to know as well as inciting a passion for learning and the development of critical and creative thinkers who are eager to make a meaningful mark on the world. Supported by passionate teachers who know and value each student as an individual, children at St Ambrose thrive in a nurturing environment that inspires academic achievement and personal growth through a balance of high expectations and high support.
With high levels of parental involvement, we create an engaged and empowered school community rooted in our Catholic faith. Guided by our vision, "In Faith and Love We Challenge the Mind and Engage the Heart," we are committed to ensuring that all students are known, understood, and supported to live life "to the full" (John 10:10). In partnership with the Parish of St Ambrose Concord West, led by Fr Rex Paulraj, we work closely to support our families' faith journeys, combining a rich history with contemporary approaches to education to prepare our students for a bright future.
