NSW Health is seeking an experienced Health Service Manager (Facility) to provide operational, clinical and people leadership at Coonabarabran Health Service, part of Western NSW Local Health District.

This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for the day-to-day management of services, workforce performance, resource allocation and service delivery — ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centred care for the Coonabarabran community.

About the role

As Health Service Manager, you will:

  • Lead and support nursing, clinical and non-clinical teams through performance management, supervision and professional development
  • Oversee operational planning, rostering, workforce profiles and skill mix to deliver safe and effective services within budget
  • Drive quality improvement, change management and service development in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure compliance with National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards, NSW Health policy and industrial frameworks
  • Build on the current positive, resilient workplace culture in a complex rural health environment
