About this job
Position Information
Lindfield Learning Village (LLV) is a K-12 school with an entitlement of 58 teaching staff and 11 non-teaching staff. We have a current enrolment of 814 students, with our community demographic including 8 students of First Nations background, and 365 students with a language background other than English. A focus on deeply embedding literacy and numeracy strategies in the design and delivery of education ensures that balance between depth and breadth of learning and to ensure that all students have confidence in their ability to learn, adapt and be responsible citizens. The school also has a systemised and structured approach to implementing the Department of Education's Explicit Teaching Model. The school seeks to establish a culture which builds relationships based on transparency, honesty and mutual respect, where all members of the school community support each other and where we respect others' expertise, experience and points of view, and listen with an open mind. Parents and community are strongly connected and engaged with the development of the school. Parent involvement in events and learning celebrations have been central to this. As part of the planning for the school's new SEP (2026-2029) LLV has undertaken a Community Consultation and looks forward to the opportunities for further growth and improvement that this entails.
