Kennedy Baptist College is a leading co-educational Christian school for students in Years 7 to 12, located in Perth’s southern suburb of Murdoch. Kennedy Baptist College was formed in 2013 after the amalgamation of two neighbouring Colleges. It is now home to approximately 1,200 students, and together we enter the next exciting chapter.

About the Role 

Head of Year 10 (full-time, ongoing / 3-year appointment)

Pastoral Care is one of the defining features of the College. As Head of Year, you work collaboratively with the Pastoral Care team and lead a team of Form Teachers to develop and deliver a program specific to your year group. The HoY guides his/her Form teachers as the primary pastoral care person for each student in their Form.

You are an energetic and dynamic individual with an infectious devotion to each/all of our four pillars: Wellbeing, Outreach, Leadership and Discipline. Your role as a leader positively influences staff across the College including working with other HoYs, the executive team and the wider pastoral care team. You lead by example through; exemplary teaching, modelling the College values in all your interactions, balancing the relational and the delivery of strategic objectives, and by Godly discipleship.

This full-time role (0.4 FTE Head of Year, 0.6 FTE teaching) starts January 2026. It includes an ongoing teaching contract and a 3-year fixed-term Head of Year appointment.
