Caloundra Christian College invites applications from professional and experienced teachers who are passionate about leading and teaching to ensure young people are actively learning and engaging in the Secondary Mathematics program, with an immediate start available.

Caloundra Christian College is a Pre-Kindy to Year 12 independent Christian school on the Sunshine Coast. We are a team of committed educators and support personnel who believe students learn best when they feel safe, respected, and are genuinely engaged and challenged through purposeful, creative, and differentiated learning opportunities. The Role

The Head of Mathematics role is suited to an experienced and passionate Mathematics educator who demonstrates strong leadership capability and a heart for Christian education. The successful applicant will:

• Lead the Mathematics team with a servant-hearted approach, modelling professional growth, collaboration, and excellence in teaching practice
• Facilitate purposeful, engaging, and well-sequenced curriculum and assessment across the Secondary years
• Foster high levels of student engagement, achievement, and a love of learning in Mathematics
• Contribute actively to faculty and whole-school policy, planning, and strategic development
• Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with staff, students, and families
• Effectively manage faculty resources and support continuous improvement

About You

All applicants must:

• Hold current Queensland Teacher Registration
• Be eligible to work in Australia
• Be a practising Christian, actively involved in their local church, and fully supportive of the College’s Statement of Faith (available on our website)
