Role Description/Criteria
St Aloysius College, North Melbourne is seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our College as the Head of Digital Learning and Practice. This is a full-time role which also includes a teaching load.

We are seeking an experienced educator who will:
- Lead the development and implementation of the school's digital learning strategy to enhance student engagement and outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to teachers on the effective integration of digital technologies into their teaching practice
- Collaborate with the leadership team to drive innovation in teaching and learning methods
- Coordinate professional development opportunities for staff to build digital literacy and capability
- Manage the selection, procurement and deployment of digital tools and resources to support teaching and learning
- Foster a culture of digital innovation and continuous improvement across the school community
- Develop a strategy to extend the implementation of contemporary digital technologies in all learning and teaching programs.
- Lead the implementation of high-quality instructional practice that utilises technology for an enhanced student-centred learning experience and to enable new pedagogies, including AI, to support deeper learning opportunities and improve school-wide digital literacy.
We are seeking an experienced educator who has the following essential skills:
- Excellent knowledge of digital learning principles, emerging technologies and best practices in educational technology
- Strong pedagogical skills and a deep understanding of how to effectively integrate technology into teaching and learning
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, students, parents and the wider school community
We are seeking an experienced educator who has the following preferred experience:
- Proven track record in leading change and driving innovation in teaching practice
- Demonstrated experience in a similar leadership role within a secondary school environment
