This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026 Balcatta Senior High School (SHS) is situated in the northern suburbs of Perth. The Role

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and values‑driven Executive Assistant to provide high‑level administrative and executive support to the Principal and Executive leadership. This role is the central coordination point of the Principal’s office and requires professionalism, discretion and sound judgement to support effective leadership, governance and daily school operations.

Key responsibilities include managing complex term planners, correspondence and enquiries. The role coordinates meetings, events and school functions and provides secretariat support to school‑based committees and the School Board. This includes preparing agendas, recording minutes and tracking actions. The Executive Assistant also supports school communications and reporting through document preparation, intranet updates, data collation for reports, and the secure management of records, filing systems and confidential information. Additional duties include organising school functions and providing administrative support for special projects and whole‑school initiatives.

The successful applicant will ideally have strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. They would show excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment. Sound administrative experience, strong IT skills (including Microsoft Office, Integris, Compass, SOBS, DAM, TRBWA and WWCC), attention to detail, and a collaborative approach are highly desirable. A proven ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders is highly important.
