Lauriston Girls’ School, one of Melbourne’s leading independent schools, is seeking an experienced and highly professional Executive Assistant to the Principal. This pivotal role provides high-level administrative and strategic support to ensure the efficient operation of the Principal’s Office.

About the Role
As Executive Assistant to the Principal, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the leadership of the school by providing high level Executive support, including:
- Act as the Principal’s key liaison, managing communications with students, staff, parents, Council members, and external stakeholders.
- Provide high-level calendar and travel management, prioritising the Principal’s time to support key school initiatives.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and coordinate agendas, minutes, and follow-ups for senior committees.
- Support planning and execution of school events, functions, and priority projects.
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professional standards appropriate to this senior role.
- Work closely with the School Executive to advance strategic and operational objectives as a trusted partner in the Principal’s leadership team
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive support role
- Outstanding organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced Outlook calendar management
- Demonstrated ability to work with discretion, confidentiality and professionalism
- Current Working With Children Check (Employee)
- Desirable attributes include tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, experience supporting a Principal/CEO or Board, and familiarity with collaboration and workflow automation tools
