St James Lutheran College is situated in beautiful Hervey Bay only 290kms North of Brisbane and has a P-12 enrolment of over 750 students, with an on campus Kindergarten.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team who understands our core Christian values and will assist us in providing the best education and care for the children within our Kindergarten. We invite applications for this exciting position:

Early Childhood Teacher - Kindergarten

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm

Position requirements:

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education - experience preferred
• Christian values, ethos and beliefs
• Able to meet the criteria under the ACECQA Early Childhood Teacher requirements
• Current Suitability Card (Blue Card)
• Current Senior First Aid CPR and Emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis
• Have a professional and enthusiastic attitude
• Committed to continual development and improvement both professionally and personally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive person who is able to develop and maintain strong relationships with families, children and colleagues
• Knowledge and skills in all aspects of Early Childhood
• A genuine passion and drive in providing children with the best possible start in life
