Are you passionate about agriculture and supporting regional youth? At the Western Australian College of Agriculture (WACoA) – Narrogin, we are recognised for our collaborative, student-centred approach.
WACoA - Narrogin is a leading coeducational residential college with a dedication to student learning and well-being. Established in 1906, Narrogin is the oldest agricultural college in the state and consistently ranks in the Top Public Schools for Vocational Education and Training. Students in years 10 to 12 enrol from across the state, and the majority board on site.
The College is located approximately eight kilometres west of the family friendly regional centre of Narrogin in the Wheatbelt. The facilities are situated on a beautiful 1,404 hectare commercial farm, supporting both mixed cropping and livestock, along with extensive industry standard trades facilities. We run commercial merino sheep, a Suffolk stud, black angus cattle and a free-range commercial egg production enterprise. We also manage an on-site abattoir and butchery.

The Role
WACoA – Narrogin is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Domestic – Kitchenhand to join their friendly and dynamic team.
The successful applicant will undertake general cleaning, catering or laundry duties across the College and Residential Boarding facilities, ensuring that a high standard of health, safety and hygiene is maintained. Duties will be concentrated in the general cleaning area, however, the successful applicant may be required to assist across all areas as needs arise. The successful applicant will promptly report equipment and facilities faults whilst undertaking other related duties, as requested.
The successful applicant will ideally be able to work supervised and unsupervised, perform to a high standard of health, safety and hygiene within their work and work unassisted and also within a team.

- Demonstrated ability to use all cleaning equipment supplied to colleges, including polishers, vacuum cleaners and pressure cleaners.
- Demonstrated ability to carry out laundry or cleaning or catering duties, including the safe operation of cleaning or laundry or kitchen equipment and appliances.
