Domremy College is seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced Diverse Learning Teacher. This is a temporary, 0.4FTE job share position, working Monday and Tuesday.
This role has great diversity and challenge involving the provision of education and pastoral care for students from Years 7 to 12 with a wide range of diverse learning needs. The position requires a teacher with a passion for working collaboratively. As a member of Domremy College, the role requires a commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for young women in the Presentation tradition.
Key Selection criteria
The successful applicant will:
- demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school
- be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively
- collaborate with staff and parents to meet the wellbeing, pastoral and learning needs of students
- be an active listener with excellent communication, verbal and written skills
- be highly skilled in interpersonal relationships with students, staff and parents
- use creative and innovative teaching practice to provide a rich environment that caters for diversity which in turn will meet the needs of all students
- be able to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning
- have highly effective administrative and organisational skills.
