Aquinas College wishes to appoint a dynamic, suitably experienced Director of Technology. This is a full time, five year appointment and part time applications will also be considered. Aquinas College is a dynamic and diverse community of over 250 teaching and non teaching staff who all support the mission of the College.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, planning, and management of all ICT systems and services within the college. The Director of Technology role ensures that technology supports teaching, learning, administration, and compliance requirements, while driving innovation and digital transformation across the school community.

The successful applicant will have:

  • -A demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.
  • -Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science and a minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior ICT role.
  • -Extensive experience managing a team of IT professionals.
  • -Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft and Google range of products, including the Active Directory domain administration.
  • -Considerable experience in the development of ICT policies and procedures that enhance customer experience, improve business efficiency, and protect the business from risk.
  • -Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.
  • -Strategic thinking and ability to align ICT initiatives with educational outcomes.
  • -Excellent communication skills.
  • -A current Working with Children Check, National Police Check or be willing to undertake these.
