This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025.
Coastal Lakes College (CLC) is seeking a highly motivated, relationships-focused, and outcomes-driven leader to join our collaborative and dynamic Executive Team. The successful applicant should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build trust and respectful relationships with all members of the college community – students and their families, staff, local primary schools, and the wider community.

The Role
As Deputy Principal, you will work as part of a dynamic and collaborative Executive Team to provide strategic leadership in the College and the community by fostering and promoting the school’s vision, business plan, and strategic priorities across the college. The successful applicant should work collaboratively with Heads of Learning Area to lead the implementation of high-quality teaching, curriculum, and assessment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
It is highly desirable that the successful applicant have skills and experience in timetabling. A working knowledge of RTP, SSO, course and pathway counselling, WACE & SCSA compliance, and Years 7-12 course, assessment, and delivery requirements is also highly beneficial.
Responsibilities include collaborating with the administrative team to develop and promote the school's values and vision. You should utilise effective change management strategies for continuous improvement and assist in workforce effectiveness, while being able to lead positively and influence staff to enhance student outcomes.
In performing this role, you will possess the ability to set clear direction and purpose for staff, build team capacity and cohesion, and promote quality learning experiences for all students across the College. The successful applicant should be reflective, committed to ongoing learning, and improvement-focused.
