We are seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principals for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Eastern Hills SHS is seeking to appoint highly reflective and motivated instructional leaders who will join their Executive team to help lead the school in its focus on high expectations and high achievement. Eastern Hills SHS is embarking on an ambitious period of transformation and is looking for a leader to their skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm to support this cultural growth.
Suitable applicants will have the opportunity to lead our Year 7 to Year 9 cohort as well as drive the Teaching and Learning portfolio. They will ideally be strategic in their change leadership and have a capacity to build positive relationships with students, staff, and the broader community. We seek agile leaders who can perform at a high level in both operational and leadership spaces. They should be committed to actively supporting the growth of the school’s positive culture.
Eastern Hills SHS provides high-quality education to over 800 students. We are seeking individuals who have knowledge and experience to work with staff to ensure that we have a consistently high-quality approach to teaching and learning and a curriculum that engages and meets the learning needs of all students. Suitable applicants should grow partnerships with our local intake primary schools and support the successful transition of students from primary to secondary school. We have approximately 120 staff who are dedicated in helping students achieve their best and make the most of their education.
