Yanchep Secondary College provides young people in the Yanchep area with a high quality, comprehensive education. Yanchep Secondary College opened in 2018 in a brand new purpose built school. We offer a broad, high-level curriculum encompassing academic programs and vocational courses to provide students with opportunities to pursue learning interests that inspire and challenge them.

We enrol students from year 7 to year 12. Stage 2 of our building program is underway. This will include a commercial kitchen and cafe and an arts centre for visual and performing arts. The school is designed to give students access to specialist subject teaching and the best learning practices to promote success and excellence.

The Role

The successful applicant will ideally provide educational leadership focused on improving student outcomes and will support the principal in the development and implementation of the school’s Strategic and Operational Plans. As an instructional leader, the Deputy Principal should foster the professional growth of staff and lead whole-school initiatives.

A deep understanding of the Western Australian curriculum and a commitment to current, evidence-based teaching practices is highly regarded. The Deputy Principal will ideally build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community to support student engagement and success.

Eligibility
